FLCC meeting slides

Hi everyone,

Here are the slides from our annual meeting last weekend. There's a lot of rain in the forecast so it's a great week to look through them and think about your involvement in the club, and renew your membership if you need to 😉

I did want to highlight that we could use help and volunteers in a few particular areas:

• Advocacy Committee (and lead coordinator) --- It would be great to have a group of members who focus on advocacy. This could include working on things like: cycling safety for commuting, road conditions in and around Ithaca, local laws, development of new cycling infrastructure, etc. Ideally, we could have a few people volunteer to be on this committee and one person designated as the lead who can be the liaison with the FLCC board officers.
• Youth Cycling Coordinator (or committee - The club receives a lot of inquiries about rides and events for youth. The club has hosted youth rides in the past, but we need new volunteers to restart this effort.

We have already had 2 people offer to help with membership coordination (which is listed as a need in the slides) - so for now I think we are OK there!

In general, if you have ideas of things the club could do, and are willing to help lead and organize new initiatives, we are open to hearing about it! The more people who volunteer and help, the more the club can accomplish.
