Got bored of original WoW damage font?
Well, this addon contains 8 additional fonts for your leet damage!

Screenshot with each font can be seen on the panel on the right >.>

Originally it uses Font #1, see readme.txt for instructions about font swapping.

Known issues:
Font #6 does not display letters (PARRY and such). Well, it does, in fact, but it looks bad.
Will not work [correctly] with other than EN language packs.

Hello, i was wondering if theres a way to get the addon called NiceDamage or another Addon to change the damage number font to work on wotlk classic?
maybe im dumb but i cant seem to get any to actually work on wotlk classic.

For some strange reason, any addon that changes the combat text/damage numbers that my character outputs has suddenly stopped working. But damage that I -take- shows up as it should within the addon settings. I used an addon called Nameplate Scrolling Combat Text, which up until today at complete random whilst in-game in the middle of a fight just flat-out stopped showing all damage that I deal.

I logged in today, tried testing some builds at training dummy and no damage numbers are showing up. I had zero addons when I first logged in and only added details and raider.io. Did /reload still same thing. Anyone else have this happen?

The popular method for installing WoW addons is through an addon manager, and there are several to choose from. The CurseForge app is one of the better-known ones, though be careful that you only download the standalone version and not the one that includes Overwolf.

Alternatively, if you'd prefer to install your addons manually without the need for extra software, it's a fairly quick and painless process. Simply download the addon, extract it from the ZIP file and drop it into the Addons folder located in your World of Warcraft installation, which you should find at World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/Addons.

Using the manual method means you'll have to keep track of addons yourself and follow the steps above every time an update is available. That can be tiresome if you plan on running more than a couple of addons, so it's probably worth your while looking around for an addon manager to save you valuable time that could otherwise be spent in Azeroth.

Now that you're all set up, let's take a look at some addons to try. All of these addons (except ElvUI in some cases) can be found via most addon managers, but we've also linked to sites where you can manually download them.

This is one of the most popular total conversion addons for World of Warcraft. ElvUI replaces every single user interface element with a sleek redesign that is a lot more modern and readable. The tradeoff, of course, is that you're also getting rid of the fantasy-themed UI altogether. Historically, you've always had to install and update ElvUI manually, and while this isn't too much of a chore, there are a number of newer addon managers popping up that allow you to update it along with your other addons. But even if you decide to stick with manually updating it, what ElvUI brings to the table makes the sacrifice more than worth it.

One of my favorite parts about ElvUI is that it comes with an in-game setup process that'll help tailor the UI to suit your needs. There are class-specific setups that emphasise the interface elements most important to your role, and the settings have a ton of options to play with. I particularly love how the action bars behave in ElvUI, and its built-in addons mean you won't have to fuss with other addons like OmniCC. Just beware, if you want to use ElvUI, install it first before bringing more addons into the fold because it doesn't always play nice.

Details! Damage Meter is a very accurate graphical DPS meter that shows how much damage or healing you and everyone in your party is doing by sifting through the combat log. If you're planning on doing a lot of high-end group content, I cannot stress how important it is to have some kind of damage meter. Details, in particular, is my go-to. Its optional tools are a godsend, like being able to see buff uptimes or how many interrupts you or other players have cast during an encounter.

There are a lot of addons to choose from that change the appearance of the default Blizzard nameplates and make them much easier to see during combat. Despite the name, Threatplates can be used by any class and spec and isn't limited to tanks. As with many other addons, the nameplates will change colour, based on your threat generation but there is a lot more customisation available if you want to play around with the options.

Of course, much of your decision when choosing a nameplate addon will come down largely to personal preference. One of the things I love about Threatplates is the little quest icon that appears above the enemy nameplate if they are required to complete an active quest. I'm sure there are addons that do the same but Threatplates does what I require and I see little reason to change it now.

Before I start I need to say that I still will recommend that mod to anyone who want to play default SoC but with just nicer graphic and lots of addons...
But sadly its not great mod, and it barely reach "good".

2. Mod have really nice damage balance... beside mutants...
In terms of mutants, no matter of what armor and even bunch of artifacts that give you rapture protection, you will die from 2-3 hits... sound good if that would be bloodsucker or chimera but no, you will die from 2-3 hits of rat/flesh/dog any mutant.
But worst part are pseudodogs, their psy-aura is just hilarious. If you though that controllers or bloodsuckers are dangerous you are wrong, in r2 they are joke, no threat at all(they are blind, and die from short burst of even 9mm), but pseudodogs wil hit you with their psy-aura that have really, really terrible animation that is WAY to long and brutal, and you will die from two hits even in seva/any heavy suit stacked with artifacts against rapture. Other thing annoying is hitboxes in some mutants, like for example dog, If you though that 2 shoots in body/legs of heavy and fast 939 could kill dog you are wrong... :] And that go to another problem...

3. Guns in R2 are total mess. Some guns/ammo dont have proper description, some have wrong caliber names, ammo icons are confusing and mixed, and overall guns are not really balanced: 939 or even 7.62x54 behave like 5.56x45, shotguns are OP, .45 feel weaker than 9x18mm.
I personally love when game have realistic damages, after all bullet is a bullet, it will kill, but even in real life different calibers bahave differently, and when you play and find out that pistol behave better than any 5.56x45 no matter of range you just laugh... It is playable, so no wories here, but even if game have more guns than default SoC, they all are messed up, even recoild and accuracy in some rifles are just really off(abakan, M4, vintorez they behave like mp5 really... if not range and look you would not know what you are shooting)

4. Mess with items mass and prices. I seriously HATE mods that treat items and prices like some side job that can be just copy/paste. To be more precise weight of most of items is just off by some margine, cigarettes that weigh 300g not proper 25-30g, bandages(military grade pressure bandage with oxycellulose/silver addon that stop bleeding weight 50g not 300), medkits, guns etc etc... they all are off just by even 50-100g but in game like Stalke it matter a lot. Its not hard to fix that, I did that many times, you do it one time for about 5-10min and you have realistic and good balanced weight in game. Even checking weight of guns its not a problem, 10min of work in mod that will be played by lots of people for many hours.
Now prices... The same, its just bad as hell, you can gather 5-7 guns that have price tag 7000-8000 during playing, in 60-80% condition and you barelly get 3000-4000 in bar(almost at the end of the game).
Overall price of items are also laughable, sandwich/water that cost just few RU less than pistol, LR300 with acog scope and one mag(all separate) cost 1105. You can barelly buy two bandages for that... Whole gun in 75% condition with scope and you cant buy anything but two bandages. Or selling artifact for 650RU for just ONE bandage that cost 500RU, or buying ONE normal medkit(3850RU) for not so easily to get Night Star/Goldfish artifact...
Like, seriously, there are other, PROPER ways to balance game pricing, this is just hilarious. This remind me Misery where ONLY hard thing in it is unrealistic and forced damage balance that make player sick anemic that die from hitting leaf on wind and making enemies sponges...

But, there are so many bugs and errors in the game, cant count on my 2 hands. Suit's carried wheight parameters are buggy, weapon accessory system is a mess, taking antirad deals way too big damage. energy drink is useless,
some item/suit/weapon prices are nonsense by comparing them to each other. some random ctds but thats usual at every mod. I give an 8. If the dev(s) fix these, might recosider a 9

This guide is here to help you leveling up your mage, not by telling you where to go and which quest to pick up (there are very nice leveling guides on wow-pro for that) but by giving you some piece of advice with the talents you should choose, the gear to aim for and some useful macros as well as addons.

Until 75 and the poweful Frostfire bolt, the deep Frost spec is, in my opinion, the best spec to pick up while leveling.
It offers much more control over your ennemies than fire and arcane and can dish out very nice damage.

Real Damage is a tiny code that fix some infantry damage issues in Arma 2. Like I said Real Damage is a tiny code not a mod so you can add it to your missions and players will not need any extra files to play your missions.

. Visual warning. Depending of the damage and/or remaining time the code will send visual messages to let the player knows how bad his situation is. Quick flashes will indicates that the player situation is not that bad. The very long flashes will tell to the player that the time is running out and/or that the players injury is very bad.
