Hi,
Thanks for inviting me to join your group of coffee lovers. I own a
small coffee roastery in North Chicago, IL, and love pretty much
everything about coffee except cleaning up the grounds after brewing
it. <g>
I am very much a coffee snob in that my company only roasts and sells
specialty grade Arabica coffees that have cupping scores of 85+, but I
love pretty much all kinds of coffee: espressos, single estate
varietals, blends, decaf or flavored coffee. Since you ask for our
favorite coffee for first thing in the morning, mine is an Italian
style espresso we call "Espresso Trieste" (think Illy only fresher).
My current favorite for drip coffee is a lovely Panama Boquete, though
I am also extremely partial to Ethiopian Yirgacheffes. My favorite
decaf at the moment is a decaffeinated blend of Indonesians called
Decaf. Sunda Island, and my favorite flavored coffee is Jamaica me
Crazy.
Jamaica me Crazy is a coffee flavored coffee that is "crazy" delicious
and amazingly popular. If there are any members of this group who
enjoy flavored coffee and haven't tried Jamaica me Crazy yet, I highly
recommend it.
I'm looking forward to talking about coffee with more coffee lovers.
Thanks again for the invitation to join this group!
Take Care,
Carrie
