Students who have access to NX through their academic institution will need to reach out to their school or their Siemens account contact for information on vouchers or discounts for the certification exams.

This certification exam validates knowledge of determining modeling strategies; creating & editing solid models, assembly models & structures; parametric vs. non-parametric modeling techniques; and associative links between parts using NX design.

This certification exam validates knowledge of managing programming data; creating & editing solid models; assembly models & drawings; manufacturing basics & setting up parts; prismatic machining methods, fixed & multi-axis techniques, associative machining geometry, and probing & generic motion using NX CAM.

It is highly recommended that you follow the Siemens Xcelerator Academy on-demand courses to prior to taking the exams. As a student, you can receive free access to Siemens Xcelerator Academy through verifying your academic status with the SheerID verification process.

With the NX Design Associate or NX CAM Manufacturing Associate certification, you can show employers that you are knowledgeable and proficient in NX. You can put the certification on your resume and highlight the digital badge on your LinkedIn profile.

Preparing for the NX Design Associate exam is easy with Siemens Xcelerator Academy. Through following the NX Essentials Learning Path, you will learn basic design, product design fundamentals, molded & cast part design, loading and working with assemblies, and design in context of an assembly.

To prepare for the NX CAM Manufacturing Associate exam, you can follow the NX Manufacturing Engineer Learning Path.
