Issues can arise from neighboring WiFi installations or changes in the internal configuration of the coverage area. There are a lot of hardware and software applications to help and a WiFi channel scanner is one of the most useful among them.

A WiFi channel scanner is a tool that is designed to enable the user to identify nearby wireless networks and supply details of various network characteristics and statistics. They are an indispensable tool when planning, installing, and maintaining a WiFi network.

I am coding a wifi scanner to scan available networks and connect to them. My code compiles without an issue and the app runs, BUT the scanned results do not show in the list view. Please help. Even the button click which triggers a toast runs as expected.

I also try to make a WiFi scanner without success. In the internet are some tutorials but they are all more than 4 years old and in java. I try to ask chat gpt but it gives me no corect code. Maybe I find it out in a few days and can answer again. (I try to make a WiFi bruteforcer app. So I need the WiFi list. And it must know that is the right network if the user click on it. Many hard and difficult things to solve) but maybe I get it

The Network Scanner app shows you all the network connections around you. It finds all the hosts in your home network or a selected IP range. It also displays who is using your Wi-Fi network with the details of the device, and has a port scanner, and can sort hosts by IP, MAC, and the name in ascending and descending order.

It includes diagnostic tools like ping, traceroute, port scanner, DNS lookup, and whois, and also provides details of neighboring Wi-Fi networks. The Wi-Fi signal meter offers a color-coded, graphical, and textual representation of network channels and signal strengths.

The app features around 16 basic network tools, a few of which are ping, traceroute, Wi-Fi speed test, a port scanner, whois, WIFi scanner, and subnet scanner. The Watcher tool enables continuous monitoring of remote resources, and the app also offers audible ping outputs which can be heard when the Wi-Fi encounters any issue.

Android devices with built-in barcode scanners that are engineered for work-place productivity are a phenomenon. Built-in commercial grade scanning hardware now makes implementation so much easier, short and long term. Say goodbye to attachments we've all tried and struggled with, due to many OS variants on our phones and tablets combined with attachments' often under-developed firmware and hardware. With the release of top-quality, affordable models like the...

Thanks everyone for your help with this. We had no luck with the wireless scanners for the phone because I guess out Mesh shows all the AP's as on BSSID. I made sure to check the filtering and the sorting of the AP's.

Reliable and free network scanner to analyze LAN. The program shows all network devices, gives you access to shared folders, provides remote control of computers (via RDP and Radmin), and can even remotely switch computers off. It is easy to use and runs as a portable edition. It should be the first choice for every network admin.

If you aren't having luck with your phone's built-in camera and either Google Lens isn't working for you or you prefer not to use it, try a third-party QR code scanner app. There are many to choose from in the Google Play store, though one of the best is QR & Barcode Scanner. The app is easy to use and can accurately scan QR codes; just point the phone at a QR code and go.

One less obvious thing about apps showing wifi networks in the neighbourhood is that the list of the networks is unique for the given area and can be used to determine user's location. There are online databases with a huge number of access points and their locations created by apps which have access to GPS. Apps which only have access to the surrounding wifi networks and no direct access to GPS or location can then use these databases to get coordinates of users with about 20m precision. For instance, one of such databases is here:

Originally, the Android system didn't protect access to the wifi information at all so apps could access it without any restriction (and so they could get user's location without users knowing about it). In recent Android releases, Google has been making progress to protect this sensitive information:

Audew OBD2 scanner can display current sensor data, so you can know the status of your car whenever you want. It will accurately diagnose any car problems and help you save money, it also reminds you when there is a problem with your car.

Insert OBD2 scanner into the car.
Download and install the suitable application for your device (iOS, Android or Windows).
Connect scanner to car OBD2 protocol.
Turn on the engine of the car.
Connect your phone via Wifi (not Bluetooth).
NOTE: Be sure to turn engine OFF while plugging scanner IN or OUT.

QR Codes also known as Quick Response Codes carry important information that can only be decoded by QR scanners. The Samsung Galaxy series, can read QR codes without installing any additional software. There a few easy ways to decode QR Codes, with Bixby Vision and Samsung Internet or Samsung Internet (Beta) and through the Camera app simply point your camera at the code and instantly be redirected to URLs links, Geo Co-ordinates, contact information or text messages.

The Mopria Scan application enables you to scan directly from your scanner or MFP to your Android device. This saves you the hassle of installing apps for every scanner you use and facilitates easy access to your scanned pages for viewing on your Android devices or routing to email, cloud storage or other applications.

Founded in 2013, by Canon, HP, Samsung, and Xerox, Mopria Alliance has grown to 23 members representing the worldwide printer and scanner business. In addition to the founding companies, the Mopria Alliance today includes Adobe, Brother, EFI, Epson, Fuji Xerox, Huawei, Lexmark, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Microsoft, OKI Data, Pantum, Primax, Qualcomm, Toshiba, Ricoh, Sharp, Xiaomi and YSoft.

Network troubleshooting tools sit towards the bottom of the home screen and include simple but useful tools like Ping, Traceroute and a WiFi scanner which displays information about nearby access points and the quality of each available WiFi channel.

Google decided to limit scanning in Android 9 to protect user privacy and improve battery life. Sadly, they did it without leaving an easy way to disable the 4 scans/2 minutes throttle without taking exceptional measures. There are two techniques that can help circumvent this barrier, although the best option is to avoid Android 9 altogether:
using the Android Debug Bridge, you can issue the following command: adb shell settings put global wifi_scan_throttle_enabled 0This seems to work in about 50% of Android 9 devices.
You can launch the "connect to WiFi" Android settings tool in "split screen" mode with WiGLE Wireless. It's a hack an inconvenient, but it does work reliably.

The problem is to install my printer (Canon Pixma MG4250) connected via WiFi, the drivers are installed (for printer and for scanner), scanner driver is scangearmp BUT when I run scangearmp command the program can not find any printer/scanner in the network, I refreshed few times update scanner list but no success the Canon Pixma is not visible.
