After renewing my CCleaner licence, I activated and set up Kamo. Since then I don't seem to be abel to access my wireless printer anymore i e can't print remotely. It worked OK before when I had only CCleaner installed.

My Private Connection in Kamo is set to "on" and to "automatically turn on private connection when connected to untrusted networks" and also "block internet access when private connection suddenly drops".

Hence my question: do I have to re-add the printer in Windows Settings and re-configurate the remote / wireless printing after I installed and activated Kamo i e does the Kamo installation 'overwrite' the previous remote / wireless printer setting or do I need to change something in Kamo "Private Connection" to make the remote / wireless printer setting work (e g allow the IP address of the printer)?

After installation of Kamo, the printer is still shown in the HP Smart app but whenever I try to print i e access the printer remotely a dialog box says that either the printer is offline or couldn't connect to the (HP?) server.

Hi @Freddie Welzel There aren't any settings that can be changed from within Kamo to avoid this issue but we have had users report that adding a new printer in Windows, after establishing the Private Connection, will resolve the problem.

(If not, you may need to re-add a new instance of the printer whenever connected to Kamo due to how the printer is on the local network, whereas Private Connection will redirect traffic through an encrypted virtual tunnel)

Email them at sup...@ccleaner.com and explain your problem, they are pretty quick to sort things out.
It's best if you use the same email address that you used when purchasing, so that they can quickly identify your order.

Note that as well as the licence key, entering the name exactly matching the one in your registration information is also important. For example, if you gave your name as "John Ronald Reuel Tolkien", then "John Tolkien" won't work.

If you email sup...@ccleaner.com with details of your old and new licences and ask for a 'Licence Merge' they will merge them together under the new key and you can then start using the new one which will then be valid for 2 years from the 20th/21st October (when the old one would have run out).
Plus of course the old one will stop nagging you to renew it.

If you renew an existing licence key using the same email address as before, and with less than 90 days remaining, then the old and new licences gett merged automatically so that the remaining time gets added to the renewed key.
That automatic merging happens twice a day, so it may be a few hours after renewing before you see the merge reflected in CCleaner itself.

Now I also have installed on one of the Win 10 Pro Workstations from a different purchase CCleaner Professional Edition which license key expired on the 27 September 2022. - Can I use the same newly purchased key on it ?

I already purchased a license for Kamo and that's up this September. I just bought a new 2-year license with a CCleaner bundle because my CCleaner license was up in a few days. How do I get the new Kamo license to activate. The key is the same.

But Kamo has no activate button and no way to enter a key because it has already been activated. Do I just wait until it expires in Sept.? Or is there a way to start Kamo such that it allows you to enter a key again

Hi everybody, I hope you can help me. My Windows 10 came from an upgrade from Windows 8.1, which was installed in a machine I've bought in 2014. It was an official version and I never had this problem before.

To me the possible causes are, either a system update (I had one yesterday) or the fact that yesterday I've run CCleaner to clean some space on the disk and maybe it cleaned "too much". More probably the first one, corrupted some file. Anyway, today I got this message. I rebooted the computer and right now I don't have the message anymore, but if I go in the settings I still see the message "Windows isn't activated" and I can't run Microsoft applications like OneNote (message "We're sorry, but OneNote has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly" and if I select "repair", it simply close and I get the message again when I reopen it).

Checked the error code "0xC004F012": it's because of a missing or corrupt licensing repository. I followed a guide on internet, tried to get a new token using the commands "net start sppsvc" and "cscript.exe slmgr.vbs /rilc" but I get errors

Run "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" which gave me the message "The restore operation completed successfully". I guess something have been fixed, because when I try again the /ScanHealth I now receive "No component store corruption detected". But I still have the problem with the activation.

To activate the machine again, you can try below methods, it depends on how you got your copy of Windows 10, you'll need either a digital license or a 25-character product key to activate it. Without one of these, you won't be able to activate your device.

For the run CCleaner to clean some space on the disk and maybe it cleaned "too much" issue, maybe you can consider reset machine choosing Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC > Get Started. Then, select Keep my files, choose cloud or local, change your settings. Remember backup data before doing this.

I still get the message: "There is no license associated with your NI User account". The license selected is for LabVIEW 2020 Community Edition. When I try to run LabVIEW I get the option to activate a 7 day trial. I tried doing that and got a trial of LabVIEW 2020 not CE. When I ran it the splash screen said LabVIEW 2020 where it should have said LabVIEW 2020 Community Edition. I have never installed or downloaded anything but the Community Edition. This leads me to believe that CE adds something to the regular edition to differentiate it from CE and this has possibly gotten corrupted. I don't if this will help anybody figure this out but the computer seems to think I am running straight LabVIEW now and not the CE.

Hmmm, activating the trial might make things a bit complicated from here on forward, but if you can, deactivate the trial and uninstall. Then go to the C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\License Manager\Licenses folder and delete the license (.lc) file associated with the Community Edition. (Don't forget to make a backup copy of the folder first. Then follow the instructions the steps 1 - 3 as you described above. Hopefully that works.

I first checked the License Manager folder and found a bunch of folders in it including License folder. I then de-activated the trial and uninstalled it. Then when I went back to the License Manager folder there was only one folder left - a Data folder which had log files in it. There are a bunch of other folders in the ProgramData/National Instruments folder that are left over from the uninstall. I'm tempted to delete all those and see what happens, but I may be digging a bigger hole for myself. I don't know what else to do.

I couldn't rename the folder. I would get an error message saying a folder or file was open. I got into task manager and shut down everything that said LabVIEW or NI. I could then rename all but four folders. The Web services in task manager would not shut down. Every time I shut one down another one would start up. After renaming all the folders I could I tried to run the setup file again. The only thing I could install was the Package Manager. When I un-renamed that folder I could then install the Community Edition again, but I still couldn't activate it. Same problem.

I thought about standing on my head and clicking my heels together but I'm to old for that. I hope someone comes up with a solution soon because I'm out of luck otherwise. I think other people have the same problem. It would be nice if NI could look into it and find a fix for the problem.
