Speedtrap Ride Tuesday September 30th
The Speedtrap Ride, the best Tuesday night ride out of Ottawa County, will hold its final official ride of the season tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30th. Riders will depart Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio at 6:05 pm. An ENE wind of 10 mph is forecast, but the wind should be diminishing as the evening progresses.
Scott Lang will lead the Ghost Pepper Riders and will likely average 23+ mph.
Doug Metzger and his Cayenne Pepper Riders are likely to average 21 to 22 mph.
Ken South will lead his Habanero Riders with a riding average of 20+/- mph.
Andy Gundlach should be back for his Jalapeno Riders, who probably average 18 to 19+ mph.
The rest will form the Sweet Pepper Riders. Averages for the group have been 16” lately.
Riders will still follow an alternate route, as roundabout construction continues at US 23 and SR 105. Ride time is 6:05 pm, with sunset at 7:17. So front and rear lights will be necessary.
It will be Vintage Bike Night. There will be a Lezyne show and tell product demonstration beginning around 3:00 pm. The Vintage classes will be
