Speedtrap Ride Tuesday May 19th
The Speedtrap Ride, the best Tuesday night ride out of Ottawa County, will roll out once again tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19th, at 6:30 pm from Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio.
The weather prediction for tomorrow at ride time is a temperature of about 80 degrees, with a 60% to 65% chance of thunderstorms However, in the past there has been a 100% chance of rain when none fell. We could be OK!
Scott Lang will lead his Ghost Pepper Riders over a 25-mile course and will likely return with an average of 22+/- mph. Are you ready for the adrenalin rush!
Doug Metzger will lead the Cayenne Pepper Riders over the same course , with a riding average of 21+/- mph.
Ken South will take out his Habanero Riders over the same 25-mile course with an average of 20+/- mph.
Andy Gundlach should be back to lead the Jalapeno Riders at a 16 to 19 mph average.
All others who would like to ride at a more casual pace will form the Sweet Pepper Riders.
The Speedctrap Ride travels quiet country roads in Ottawa, Sandusky, and Wood Counties. For those of you who think Elmore is too far away…It is 22 miles from the University of Toledo area……not really farther than Whitehouse. It just seems farther because it’s in another county. So why not give it a try! You’ll ride with some great people, too!
Pictured is perennial Speedtrap Rider(when he is not deployed in the Navy) Todd Pollock. Todd is also a frequent contributor of photographs for this post.
Sign-in begins at 6:00 in front of the bike shop. I hope to see you then.
