SENECA COUNTY - Seneca County Fairgrounds, South lot, Co. Rd. 594, Tiffin

If you have a few old tires in your garage and you need to get rid of them, the OSS Solid Waste District has a solution for you. On Saturday, October 28, the District will be sponsoring a Residential Tire Recycling Collection. This collection is available to residents in Ottawa, Sandusky and Seneca counties and includes all residents of Bellevue and Fostoria. The collection will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the following locations: In Ottawa County at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds, West St. Rt. 163, Oak Harbor. In Sandusky County at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds, north parking lot, 712 North St., Fremont. In Seneca County at the Seneca County Fairgrounds, south lot, Co. Rd. 594, Tiffin. At each fairgrounds, the District uses orange safety cones, arrows and signage to assist residents through a safe and efficient traffic route.
Residents of the District can bring their car and small truck tires to the collection sites on or off the rim. A maximum of 10 tires per household will be accepted and residents will be charged 50 cents per tire. Racing tires will also be accepted at a cost of $2.00 per tire. TRACTOR & SEMI TIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED DURING THIS COLLECTION.
