Speedtrap Ride Tuesday September 16th recap
          Pleasant weather brought twenty-five hardy cyclists to Elmore this past Tuesday for the Speedtrap Ride.
          The Ghost Pepper Riders are living up to their name as Scott Lang reported a riding average of 23.7 mph.
          The Cayenne Pepper Riders consisted of only Dave Stover and Mike Grillis. Dave indicated a 22.5 mph average.
          There were three Habanero Riders. Joe Peltier from that group had a 20.7 mph average.
          The Jalapeno Riders continue to be on the move with Andy Gundlach’s group of four riders. Andy reported a 19.5 mph average.
          Candy Langoria led a group of Sweet Pepper Riders. He indicated a 16.5 mph average.
          After the ride, several gathered as usual in front of the bike shop for food, drink, and good conversation Some are pictured.
          Although Vince Krolak has been a ride captain of TAB’s Side Cut Seven on Thursday for some time, this was his first Speedtrap Ride. He is pictured with Tim Michaels. Welcome Vince!
          The weather for next Tuesday’s ride(September 23) calls for a high of 77 degrees, with a west wind of 6 mph. Showers are predicted for the morning, but should be gone by ride time. Sunset will be at 7:28 pm, so ride time will be 6:05 pm, with sign-in beginning at 5:30 in front of the bike shop.
          Coming September 30: Final official Speedtrap Ride of 2025. It will be Vintage Bike Night with a Lezyne Show and Tell product demonstration starting around 3pm. The Vintage classes will be most original, Resto-Mod, MTB/Off road, and People’s Choice. Prizes from Spoke Life and Lezyne. Pizza and refreshments provided.
