Speedtrap Ride Tuesday September 23rd recap
Pleasant weather and practically no wind brought twenty- four hardy cyclists to Elmore this past Tuesday for the Speedtrap Ride.
Scott Lang and his Ghost Pepper Riders and Doug Metzger and his Cayenne Pepper Riders rode out as one group. No report from either of them about riding averages or if the group split up. However, with almost ideal weather conditions, averages were most likely near or above normal(21- 22 and 23- 24)
Ken South was back to lead his Habanero Riders. Ken reported an average of 19.4 mph. However Ken had to stop to assist Joe Peltier with mechanical issues. Randy Drewyor from the group reported a 20.5 mph average.
Candy Langoria, substituting for Andy Gundlach, led the Jalapeno Riders to an 18.5 mph average.
There were three Sweet Pepper Riders. Claude Watkins from that group reported a 16.8 mph average
