Speedtrap Ride Tuesday July 28th
The next running of the Speedtrap Ride, one of America’s great Tuesday night rides, will be tomorrow, Tuesday, July 28th, at 6:30 pm from Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohiol.
The usual five groups wsill ride out:
The Ghost Pepper Riders, led by Scott Lang, and will probably average 22+ mph.[If Scott is still on vacation, the group may ride with the Cayenne Pepper Riders].
The Cayenne Pepper Riders, whose leader is Doug Metzger. The group usually averages 21 to 22 mph.
The Habanero Riders, leader Ken South, and will likely average 20+/- mph.
The Jalapeno Riders, whose leader is Andy Gundlach.. If Andy’s knee is better, the group’s average usually ends up being 18+/- mph.
All others who would like to ride a more casual pace, will be the Sweet Pepper Riders. The group probably will cut off a few miles from the regular 25 mile route. Averages have been about 15 mph.
The forecast for Tuesday evening at ride time calls for mostly cloudy skies, a temperature of 79 degrees, a north wind of 12 mph, and less than a 10% chance of any precipitation.

After the ride, several will likely gather in front of the bike shop to celebrate Christmas in July. Don’t miss this!
