Speedtrap Ride Tuesday September 23rd
The Speedtrap Ride, one of America's great Tuesday night rides, will roll out again, tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23rd, at 6:05 pm from Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio. The weather for tomorrow's ride looks favorable: mostly cloudy, a temperature in the mid to upper 70s, a 15% chance of rain, and a west wind of 3 mph.
Scott Lang will lead the Ghost Pepper Riders. If you ride in his group, expect to average 23+ mph. Are you up to the challenge?!
Doug Metzger will take out his Cayenne Pepper Riders and will likely average 21 to 22 mph.
Ken South should be back to lead his Habanero group and will average around 20 mph.
A substitute will likely be needed for the Jalapeno Riders, who have been averaging 18+ mph.
All others will form the Sweet Pepper Riders. Averages have been 16+ lately.
The Speedtrap Ride is following an alternate course for the rest of the season, as roundabout construction continues at SR 105 and US 23. Ride time will be 6:05 pm, with sunset at 7:28 pm. Lights, both front and rear, will be necessary for slower riders.
Sign-in will begin at 5:30 in front of the bike shop. I hope to see you then!
