I wanted to share a few club updates and exciting news.
Christmas in July Ride & Social
We had a fun and successful S'mores Night following the Speedtrap Ride on Tuesday, July 21. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the ride and stayed afterward for fellowship, laughter, and plenty of chocolatey treats!
The fun continues next Tuesday, July 28, with our Christmas in July themed social after the Speedtrap Ride. If you have any Christmas-themed cycling gear, we'd love to see it! Feel free to bring your favorite holiday treats or festive snacks to share. We're looking forward to a jolly evening together!
Our Website Has a Fresh New Look
Flatlanders has renewed our website, www.flatlanders.info, and we've given it a fresh new look. The website is a great resource for prospective members to learn about our club, our rides, and what makes Flatlanders such a great community.
The site is still a work in progress, so we welcome your feedback and suggestions as we continue to improve it.
Coast to the Oast
We currently have 12 Flatlanders registered for the Coast to the Oast ride, making us the second-largest teamregistered so far!
If you've been thinking about signing up, now is a great time. It's a fantastic ride that supports Lake Erie, showcases beautiful scenery, and finishes with the opportunity to enjoy a local brewery. We'd love to have even more Flatlanders join us!
New Member Application
Our updated paper New Member Application has been distributed to the Spoke Life locations in Fremont and Elmore.
If you have suggestions for other businesses or locations where we could display applications, please let us know. Every new opportunity helps us introduce more people to Flatlanders.
Member Survey
A member survey was sent out last week. Thank you to everyone who has already shared their feedback!
If you haven't had a chance to participate yet, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your input is invaluable as we plan future rides, events, and club initiatives. We appreciate your feedback and want to hear from every member.
MARR
TAB signature event ride is coming up, The Maumee Area River Ride. We will have several members riding in the event which leaves Buffalo Rock Brewery on the morning of Aug. 8.
