Pace: You should be able to hold 20 mph when we’re rolling, with an expected average around 18 mph once you factor in turns, regroups, and “professional” stop-sign negotiations.

Required:
Helmet
Bright headlight + tail light (trail-level brightness / “see-and-be-seen” mode)
After: beverages, lies about how easy it felt, and at least one “we should do this every week” from someone who won’t.
