Speedtrap Ride Tuesday September 16^th

          The Speedtrap Ride, one of America’s great Tuesday night rides, will hold its next chapter tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16^th, from Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio. Because sunset will be at 7:40 pm, Ride time will be 6:08 pm, with sign-in beginning at 5:30 in front of the bike shop. Sunny skies are predicted for ride time, with a temperature in the upper 70s, less than a 5% chance of precipitation, and an ENE wind of 8 mph.

          Scott Lang will take out his Ghost Pepper Riders, and will likely average 23+/- mph. Are you ready for the adventure?!

          Doug Metzger and his Cayenne Pepper Riders will average 21 to 22 mph.

          Ken South is away this week with wife Mary celebrating their anniversary in Smokey Mountains National Park, so a substitute will be needed for the Habanero Riders.

          The Jalapeno Riders, with leader Andy Gundlach, keep improving every week. Last week’s average was 18.9 mph. Will they top 19 this week?

          All others will form the Sweet Pepper Riders, and ride at a more casual pace, 16+/- mph.

          Riders will likely  gather after the ride for snacks, drinks, and good conversation.

          Reminder: Speedtrap Riders will ride an alternate route of about 26 miles for the rest of the season, as roundabout construction continues at US 23 and SR 105.

Ride time will be at 6:08 pm, with sign-in beginning at 5:30 in front of the bike shop. I hope to see you then!
