We checked our last yard today in lakeside and out of 10 hives 9 were dead and one missing. The base was there screwed to the ties but both deep boxes and the top cover are gone. Looks like someone needed some free bees. Remote location on private property and non registered yard. Keep your eyes open, this seems to be happening more and more often.
