Skin problems can be pretty common in some dogs, especially during
the
summer. But did you know that there are other causes of skin problems
in dogs that you might not be aware of? Things in our environment,
commercial dog food and intolerance build ups to common things like
fleas. I have created a blog about dog skin problems and other dog
related health issues. You can visit it here:

There is some really great stuff there that can help you save your
dog's life!

Hi jean

I did have a couple of skin problems with my first Flattie and I'm
sure it was food. She was on Eukanuba which I wouldn't feed ever
again since I read what they put in it.

Holly & Elsa have been on Naturediet (UK) which is a holistic food,
containing chicken, or lamb, some tripe, rice, carrots. She is
thriving on it, her coat is like black gloss paint, she smells
gorgeous and no skin problems at all. I also use a herbal wormer
instead of the vet's chemical one and have had no problems whatsoever.

Hi Jean,

I feed my 3 on Naturediet too and they all absolutely love it, so I
recommend it to all. Beautiful coats, no skin complaints, fleas or anything
at all!

I buy it in bulk direct from Naturediet and it works out cheaper and they
deliver to my door. I mix a bit of kibble in too (James Wellbeloved or
Wainwright) - just for some crunchiness and its all wolfed down!

Hi Allison

She gets Keltie biccies and Dried fish treats from Burns for
crunchiness and I also let her have the odd smoked bone.

I also have it delivered in bulk for myself and a girlfriend for her
Lab.
