TheMTKclient software doesn't seem to work for bootloader unlocking on my Vivo Y33S. I've followed the instructions to enter in Brom mode, but it doesn't recognize my device or initiate the unlock process.

Has anyone successfully unlocked the bootloader of the Vivo Y33S? If so, could you please share any alternative methods or potential solutions to overcome these challenges? Your insights and expertise would be greatly appreciated!

I'd highly suggest you watch youtube tutorials if you are not really into these stuffs. If you can't find a tutorial regarding the specific model of your phone, watch general videos relevant to the company of your phone.

The live image from the USB works flawlessly and I love it! It would really breathe new life into this old tablet that really struggles running with Windows 10. And it provides a much better touch experience from what I can tell so far.

I used manjaro-plasma-mobile-22.0-unstable-220824-linux515.iso from the link provided above without any modification. Do you mean to say that while the CPU is listed as supporting 64bit instructions the device itself can be using 32bit efi?

Then after running grub-install --bootloader-id=GRUB --efi-directory=/boot/efi --no-nvram --removable I managed to force it to install, and upon a reboot I was presented with a GRUB prompt. Because of course I forgot to generate any boot entries first.

After fiddling with Vivo's custom Fastboot interface for a while, XDA members Pervokur and Killuminati91 have managed to find a somewhat generic method to unlock the bootloader of a handful of phones from the Chinese OEM. Yes, the following devices now have been confirmed to have unlocked bootloaders:

There are a few caveats to this unofficial method, though. Firstly, this apparently applies only to the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC-powered device variants. Next, unlocking the bootloader disables the fingerprint reader, at least on the Vivo X70 Pro Plus. The final caveat, which is a minor one, is that you will have to flash a custom vendor image using a modified Fastboot binary and rely on a race condition for the bootloader to be unlocked.

After Unlock Bootloader you can able to install TWRP Recovery, Rooting Installing custom ROM and customize the device. Also, you can unbrick the device with the flash boot.img, system.img, recovery.img, userdata.img. You can flash full ROM after unlocking the bootloader.

You have all been here before. I haz a new tool. It's an Asus VivoBook, specced S300CA, which means 13.3" oftouch screen equity, a third-generation i5 processor with middling frequency, and some extra bits. Indeed, thiscalls for a review.

Now, as you imagine, laptops nowadays ship with the suckyWindows 8 installed, which is supposed to be this marvel of ergonomics not. But every time I praised it, it has always happened on a conventional system without anytouch. This time, there is touch, so I will be able to give you a final impression what this operating systemis all about. And of course, we will actually review the laptop, as a whole. Because that's why we are here.

All right. For USD599.99, which translates into USD600 for normal people, this medium-sized laptop by Asus canbe considerable a moderate bargain. It's actually an ultrabook, which means slim, tightly packed minimalisticdesign. You get the usual Mac-like keyboard, which I have first encountered onmy eeePC beastling, and it's a delight. Probably the best, most feedbacky keyboard on the market.

You also have a 1366x768px screen stretched diagonally across 13.3 inches, responsive to touch, which is abonus in that you can wipe it clean with a wet towel, unlike most laptop screens, which do not like moisture.Solidly built, with a silver aluminum casing, brushed ever so slightly to look more posh. Or is it posher?

Peripherals wise, VivoBook comes with a solid array of connections, although it is not dazzling, as there issimply not enough room for all the interesting pieces. For example, the DVD tray is out of the question. You dohave three USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet port, VGA, HDMI, SD card, audio jack, and Kensington, plus the chargersocket. That's it.
