Cannot manage to install flashpcaR on Windows

I tried several methods:
- any method requiring compiling returns an error (using devtools or installing )

- installing from zip says installation successful, but then loading the library fails:

downloaded from: https://github.com/gabraham/flashpca/releases/download/v2.0/flashpcaR_2.0.zip

> install.packages("C:\\path_to_zip\\flashpcaR_2.0.zip", repos = NULL, type="source")

package 'flashpcaR' successfully unpacked and MD5 sums checked

In R CMD INSTALL

> library(flashpcaR)

Error: package or namespace load failed for ‘flashpcaR’:

 package ‘flashpcaR’ was installed by an R version with different internals; it needs to be reinstalled for use with this R version

I hope I can get it to run. If not I guess I will have to go to python (T_T).

Hi Remi,

The Windows zip is not actually a source package, it's a precompiled
package. Can you try removing the type="source" and seeing if it
works?
