******************************* 7 days more to go **************************************
Hi everybody..
Now that Jagadish found out a more intelligent way of sharing the music piece, the next step is obviously the practice dance routine. Pl check the link below on youtube.
http://youtu.be/RtfcRuS_N88?hd=1
this is a private link and would not be searchable on youtube. Pl feel free to go there and download this video to your personal PCs so that you can use it for your practice.
As mentioned below.. there are 3 sequences in the song.
Song 1 ( Love Aaj Kal ) – 1min 42 secs
Song 2 ( Delhi Belly ) - 1 min 43 secs to 2min 41 secs ( so less than a min )
Song 3 ( Jai Ho ) – 2 mins 42 secs to 4 min 54 secs ( so about 2 mins and 10 secs )
We are sharing the dance steps for the Song 2 and Song 3 only. The Song 1 is going to have a little more complicated steps for which identified dancers from different organizations would be performing. So we don’t want to share those steps and overwhelm the non-dancers.
The video which you see has got simple steps. The whole idea is to do these steps in sync. The Male dancer is Deepak from Akamai and on to his left, there is Tapthi from AT&T and to his right, there is Arathi ( in Blue ) from AT&T. Pl follow one of them for your home practice sessions.
What you would realize is that there are going to be about 100 dancers in front of you, beside you and behind you.. so you would never forget a step for sure J
What we expect from you is to pick a section of the dance sequence from which you would be comfortable to dance. You don’t need to all jump in from the Song 2 itself. We need the crowd to gradually join in towards the end. So some of you can start joining the group from the Delhi Belly song.. and others can join in from Jai Ho. You can even join in from the middle of a song. Your choice to pick your starting point.
The only request is that from wherever you are joining, pl practice your steps from that point onwards.
We would also be having 2 practice sessions in our Salarpuria Complex this weekend. One on Saturday and another on Sunday. We would let you know the timings soon. The place would most probably be the terrace so that we don’t get too many eye balls. All of you are welcome to come and join us for these sessions. Would help you understand your entry points and would give you an idea of placements.
Lets start from conversations around this. Feel free to give any kind of feedback and suggestions on how we can make this better.
Regards
Manoj Balachandran
Count as of this morning
90 members and 26 open invitations – total of 116 people enrolled and more coming in from other organizations. That’s just great news. Our recruiters are doing great work J J J
If anybody has any contacts at Airvana, Sonicwall, iSoft and Brocade pl do let us know. We want to reach out to more people from these organizations.
