[as3] why not using ...rest operator for logging methods ?

I wonder if it won't be better the define the method signature as :
public function error( msg:String=null, ...dumpObjects ):void

my 2 cents.

Yeah, right, I was confused because when using the as3 swc file with
Eclipse FDT3 (that is able to show inner class signatures), the API
was showing as I told you.
Strange.
