Hi,

are there any plans regarding sponsors and media coverage?

The effect will be spectacular and news channel worthy, but IMHO
sponsors could kill the essence of the idea, am I wrong?

Also, will there be people in charge of making a video imortalising
the event like "The Camera Flash Experiment"? that would be nice.

Can't wait to flash the world

Best regards,

Henrique.

Hi Henrique!

Well, as for people in charge of making the video we already have a
couple of contacts. However if any of you know someone please let them
know they will be needed: if not for the video making, for the flash
itself! and let us know too please! :)

Regarding sponsors, we also feel it's not a good idea, not for this
mission at least. For the news channels, we are still debating on
that! We have to go through the potential positives and negatives of
having news coverage. In fact...

Can you _all_ please give a comment on media coverage? Do you think it
would be a good idea? Why?

Thank you so much for your contribution in advance,
and thank you Henrique for your enthusiasm! :)

We too can't wait to flash the world!

I think it depends on the level of spontaneity/surprise intended. If
the objective is to positively "take by surprise" the city with p725,
then warning the media in advance is a bit off... If the objective is
the event itself and its potencial beauty then the media are a
powerful ally to promote future Flash Project events.

Maybe spontaneity isn't a key factor because it is being planned and
discussed ahead.

I'm pro media.

That's also my point. Besides, having an "inside source" in a TV
channel means we can hint that somethings going to happen, but not
really divulge the whole thing, up until the very last day.

Dear Everyone,

I am in agreement with (so far) everyone!

I think that sponsors (at least at this stage) would kill the essence of this project: spontaneity and improvisation.

Regarding the media coverage, we could let the media know just a couple of days before the event.

Please keep on telling this project to your friends,

Bruno

PS - A web page will be created in the next few days!!!!
