first mission - p725

Hi there.

So, the first mission is out: Mission p725 - that is p for Porto, 7
for July and 25 for well, 25th day of July.

The aim of this mission is to flash Porto, Gaia and the beautiful
Douro river in between, on top of the lower deck of the D.Luis bridge,
at midnight.

To make it work, we need 200 people (not that difficult, we hope!)
with FLASH cameras to be ready at 23h59, on the lower deck of the
bridge, facing West. At exactly 24h00 we will start FLASHing like
there's no tomorrow.

Does it sound a little strange? Well, it is. This idea, however, is
not new - Improv Everywhere (our inspiration) did a similar experience
in the Brooklyn Bridge, New York, and it was wonderful (you can see it
here http://bit.ly/F9Npb). After seeing that we thought: why not here
on our own gorgeous bridge?

If you say "why?" we say "why not?", but if the sheer pleasure of
doing something just because we can do something does not satisfy you,
this could be a way of showing our appreciation (or even love) for
this wonderful city that is Porto and its surroundings.
