Hello there,
it is definitely a problem with the 3d renderer, as FLARManager adds "very little" to the visualizing.
Sometimes it can be a pain to debug these kind of errors, but once You get the hang of it..
My advise is to start with basic geometry, then add textures, after that add in the animation - as each of these steps has it's own problems which added up can be overwhelming for the first time.
If You can, try to concentrate on just the version of away3d You would like to use, after having that work, add in the FlAR to the mix.
