The flapjack puppet module has had a refactor and lots of improvements courtesy of Wolf Noble (@wolfspyre) if you’d like to give that a whirl (warning: it needs documenting): https://github.com/flapjack/puppet-flapjack

You can easily test the new version of Flapjack along with Icinga, Nagios, and Sensu using vagrant-flapjack - https://github.com/flapjack/vagrant-flapjack/ - just bring your own Vagrant and Virtualbox (or VMWare Fusion). Or if you’re Docker-inclined look at the Dockerfile within a checkout of the v1.6.0 tag of https://github.com/flapjack/flapjack

Cheers,
Jesse

I cant find any documentation how to update from version 1.5.0 to 1.6.0, can`t by that easy as yum update since the application is in production and has defined entities and stuff.

You should be able to install/update the package over the top of the previous.

We try hard to not clobber any local configuration changes you’ve made, eg the installer will update the flapjack_config.yml.example file but not the actual file in use. But you’ll want to test an upgrade on a test system, or at the very least backup your filesystem and current Redis dump file.
