Aatagalluis a murder mystery movie that is based on mind games played between the culprit and the investigators. Parachuri Murali has written the script for the film, which has been produced by Vasireddy Ravindra Nath, Vasireddy Sivaji Prasad, Makkena Ramu and Vadlapudi Jithendra under the banner Friends Movie Creations. It has got a U/A certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 2 hours and 21 minutes.
Aatagallu story: The movie is about director Siddharth (Nara Rohit), who gets arrested in his wife Anjali's murder case. Public prosecutor Veerendra (Jagapathi Babu) takes up the case against him and interrogates in judicial custody. After listening to his story, the lawyer is convinced that he is not guilty and allows him to get out on bail. How the murderer is caught forms the crux of the story.
Analysis: Aatagallu deals with an outdated, boring murder mystery that tests the patience of the film-goers from the beginning till end. Even Brahmanandam's comedy fails to save this movie, say the audience.
Performances: Nara Rohith and Jagapati Babu have delivered wonderful performances, which are the highlights of Aatagallu. Darshana Banik has done a good job and her chemistry with the hero is also good. Subba Raju, Brahmanandam, Sri tej, Jeeva, Tulasi and Priya have done justice to their roles, say the viewers.
#Aatagallu is an average flick... Very weak narration in the very first half killed the viewers intrest in watching the movie... #nararohith and #jaggubhai are best in their roles... some scenes in the second half are good ....
Intriguing but somehow falls short of the suspense factor which would've made it a solid action thriller... Songs and Brahmanandam scenes could've been trimmed..Watch it without any expectations if you love action thrillers you may like it..Others can skip this one !! #aatagallu
