Enacting NDAA 2012 is another of the defining moments for this
early 21st century American government’s abdication of democracy,
and another step toward a barbaric neoconservative theocracy.

President Obama and half the Democratic Caucus’ desertion of
American civil society is not invisible to the people of this country.
We see it. We see that the 1% will stop at nothing to privatize and
securitize everything. What comes after this? 1970’s-style Chile and
Argentina on US soil?

What part of the Democratic caucus will hold back this tide of forced
corporate complicity and servitude? Where is the massive
progressive recruitment strategy of solid progressives with
backbone, acumen and public service at heart? Where are the
liberal lions?

America is in trouble. The transfer of wealth to the largest
corporations and wealthiest citizens is deafening. The repression of
the OCCUPY demonstrators, the wholesale approval of genetically
modified foods, foreign policy failures of global proportion, and the
fear-mongering and attempt at muzzling the general citizenry via the
Patriot Acts and NDAA and looming SOPA, bespeak a collective
enterprise of civil societal destruction
; by accident or design, it
makes no difference.

Only the Congress can stop it. Where is their will?

As for the Presidency in 2012 - if Obama wins – what would lead
anyone to believe that he will not continue more of the same
alarming trend, albeit at a probably slower pace, than what Romney
et al. will produce? The Presidential policy vector in 2012 aims in the
same general direction for all of these candidates: barbaric
conservatism in a variety of shades.

My campaign needs your support. The ballot access fee in FL is
over $10,000. TeaNut Sandy Adams is raking in hundreds of
thousands of dollars from corporate fascists and savagely
misguided theocrats.

Put us on the ballot and take back what is yours. Demand social
justice. I’m doing this for you, and I’m doing it for all us. I need you
to lift me up, so I can hit the mark.

Most other candidates are already gamed by the crony system, and
they won’t rock the boat. You’ve seen it for years. Big talk on the
campaign trail. Silence in office. I’ve watched the house of liberalism
fall floor by floor, all of my life – until I decided I could not stand by
and watch a
n egalitarian America fall any longer.

I guarantee once I’m elected, Capitol Hill will never be the same.

Change is about more than skin color, religion, gender or sexual
preference.

Change is about difference in liberal vision, capacity, the force of
personality and pure progressive energy directed at the problems
that face America.

Let’s do this.

You can’t take it with you.
