Watching the news today, a friend asked, “Is today’s GOP really
happening? Is today’s Democratic Party, really happening? Is that
all there is?”

I told him – you bet your life it is.

And that’s why I’m running for Congress.

He has pitched in some money for the campaign over the past few
months, though he’s not wealthy and has a family; and he always
has good insight into the general state of American politics and
culture. His story and American experience are interesting, because
like so many Americans, even though he and his partner are quite
well-educated and hard-working people, they’re not doing as well as
their parents did, despite the fact that both of their families were
quite wealthy, by most standards.

Unfortunately, that’s how trickle-down theory economics has
worked out for America. And it’s not getting any better, particularly,
because of all the campaign contributions being lavished over so
many political campaigns that will truly do nothing to fix America.
Actually, they’re aiming straight for a race to the bottom to make
things worse for most Americans, while they make things better for
themselves.

America gets what it elects, no?

All that good friend had to say today is: “I hope to God you win. You
are exactly what DC and this country needs. And if we don’t find
more people like you to run and win, I’m not sure this country will be
recognizable in a few years.”

I thanked him, like I always do for his inspiration.

We still need your help on the royal State of Florida's ballot access
fee of $10,440. Thank you.

$10,440. Yep. You bet your life it is.
