Hey Comrades,

Who is still a member of this group? The time has come for planning
the Belgium 2011 Trip. Elliot and I are planning on organizing this
one. Dates will likely be for a month between 6/15 and 7/31. Please
chime in if you are thinking about coming or know someone else who
may.

Here! I will give it some serious thought.

I'm still part of the Flandrian group.

I'm down to give it a go again!

My suggestion is to stay in a different area of Belgium, like Oudenaarde, or Geraardsbergen area or something so that riding/racing in south or east Belgium is possible too.

I'll talk to some of my teammates on Echelon Cycles/Multisport of Santa Rosa about the trip there are a couple that might be down.

I'm gonna be looking for cheap plane tix online in that time frame.

Later,
 Jason King

I am PUP - physically unable to perform (on the bike, you jerks) - but I would love to go and ride my bike around and hang out with you gents and drink some fine beverages.  I can ride plenty, especially if it's flat, but racing's out of the question.  (For those who are out of the loop, I have torn cartilage in my left hip and some bone-on-bone issues in both hips, and I haven't raced since April 2010.)

I'd be happy to DS a couple races but I don't want to go and be support staff every day.  I will definitely gamble more this time though.

I probably can't spare more than 2 weeks, and even that is up to my boss and would be a lot to take off at one time.

I was happy with the location last time but I'd also be happy to stay elsewhere.

Evan

Damn it.  I was looking at going back to Europe this summer.  Instead, I just moved to the west coast (San Diego) this week.

It's a shame there's no way to get to Europe from the Western U.S.!
