So, are we going to Spain this year?  or Belgium? or France?

I'm looking to check out part of the Tour this year.  it hits Northern France for a bit, near the Belgium border.  A few other Stanford cycling team members may be out there.  I haven't asked any of the team members to go yet, but I could maybe talk a few of them into it.

and fitness won't allow a trip this summer. Definitely considering it

turns out 4 months in india is worse for fitness than chest surgery and 3 months of depression/laziness. My fitness is at rock bottom right now. I was getting myself mentally prepared to get physically prepared for 2014. I like belgium, but i have never been to spain so it may be nice to change things up.

Hope you're all well!

Stoked to continue thinking about another racing adventure with you all, but I'm also in the 2014 camp.

This summer, I'll take another shot at Leadville. Same as last year, I have the opportunity to race as a fully sponsored/pre-qualified/pseudo-pro athlete on the Herbalife 24 team. In fact, this is Herbalife's last year in contract with Leadville Events...so I need to take advantage while I can. :)

BTW - Leadville offers a "suck factor" a million times greater than any kremesse. It's soul sucking lunatic shit! When the time comes--and it will--I'll be looking forward to more racing in Europe.

I'm always interested. Evan, let me know if the other stanford guys and your plans solidify and I will make every effort to head over there and join in on for say a 10-16 day adventure over there.  But no matter what 2014 is already being $aved up for, doing that! - Jason
