Last practice before Cramp Up: 5:30 at Pine Nursery. No one get hurt.

Big news on the tourney front: We filled out the roster, giving us 15 official players. We secured an awesome place to stay in Medford (free, and it has a roof ... more on that later). Rides are coming together. We need to do our online rostering. And Team Dinner is Thursday night, location TBD.

First, the roster: We have recruited several players: Katie Snape, Steve-O and Kevin, plus a couple from PDX that Starr knows. That puts our roster at:

Women (6): Caitlin, Laura, Libby, Kendra, Katie, Starr Female Friend
Men (9): Andy, Dylan D, Starr, Max, Paul, Aki, Steve-O, Kevin, Starr Male Friend

Hot looking team right there. Here's how rides are shaping up:

Libby's PimpMobile (leaving at 5:30)
Libby, Caitlin, Kendra, Starr, Max, Aki

The Snello Sudan (also leaving 5:30? Caravan, perhaps?)
Laura, Ryan, Paul

The Night Train (leaving at midnight)
Andy, Dylan D

From the Valley
Katie, Steve-O, Kevin, Starr's friends

Our new digs: We are staying at our friend's parents' house, just outside Medford city limits (I don't have address/directions yet, but I will soon). Our friend in Bend is Maggie Harlow, who played on Team Humu at Gandy Goose 2011. She's great, and her mom, Tish, is also great, since she has invited us all to her place. Here's the deal. They have lots of space, both indoor and outdoor. Only a few beds, but plenty of floor space for sleeping bags. So bring your own sleeping bags, pillows and towels. Tish said she'll set up a large tent in the yard for us. This is all super sweet and awesome, so let's all be respectful. She'd like it if we didn't arrive too late on Friday night. (10 p.m. sounded like a reasonable arrival time.) And then the post-party return wagon on Saturday night is gonna have to stay quiet. Or just sleep outside. For being so generous — and since it's Mother's Day on Sunday — we're gonna get her a nice gift, probably wine.

Team rostering: Like the Gandy Goose, Cramp Up is USAU-sanctioned. So we all need to be USAU members, or pay $10 and sign an event waiver. I just started the FC roster. I need USAU numbers from Aki, Paul, Kevin and Starr's friends, and everyone but Dylan and me needs to pay the $10 fee. Go here to get it started. It's much easier to pay online now rather than tracking down a TD on Saturday morning. Thanks.

Team dinner: Thursday night. Location TBD. Everyone's invited. Probably pasta. Probably beer. Possibly Twister. Definitely euchre.

Sweet! See yall in a couple hours!

For people who may be thinking about alternative sleeping arrangements:

Ryan, Paul, Katie and I will be staying at the Red Lion. It is located
midway between the party and the fields. A room for 4 is $60/person
for the weekend and includes hot breakfast. Reservations can be made
online.

Also, for those who have been to this tournament before - does frisbee
central provide bagels/fruit? If not we may want to think about bring
some of our own.

Yes, there's been light snacks served up in the past, but if your
nutritional requirements demand more, then by all means take some
nibbles for between games.
Have a great time out there!

JW in Denver...but playing tonight thanks to pick-up ultimate.com
