I got out on my Phattie today and the trails are about 95% safe to
ride w/o tearing them up too much. Went out at lunch, down the Rio de
Flag and then connected to the new loop trail that takes to top of
Fishers Point and then came down the singletrack to the mid point and
came back in. Just in the shady and northern exposure is a bit soft,
but the phat tires float so much that it doesn't rip up the trail.

One other benefits to the phat-tires is that the horses have been out
there and totally tearing the trail up - I did notice that they will
actually smooth out the trail a bit. Yet another reason to own one of
these great bikes.

Planning on riding again tomorrow at lunch - we typically leave around
noon +/- 10 minutes from the FUTS trail that is just north of the dome
since close proximity to my office. Let me know if you can join us.

Lunch rides sound great! But I am working at that time and leaving for Florida Thursday. I'll be ready to get out on a ride with the group right after thanksgiving.
