Hey gang, I thought I would give everybody an update on fat biking in Sedona. I rode chuck wagon, last frontier, aerie, cockscomb, part of girdner, and western civilization. All those trails were great fun and very challenging at times! Not sure I would have a ton of fun on a trail like highline, but I'll give it a shot sometime to see. I have so much traction with the Nate tires at 7-8.5psi that I can pretty ride anything I have the guts or fitness to try.

So after two days of really good riding I've decided that riding fat bikes are an extremely viable way for me to ride 12 months out of the year, anywhere. It will never take the place of a good full suspension but it is fun all the same. Yeah I have to ride a little slower on some descents, but I also have to ride smoother which will keep me sharp picking good lines.

So next time you go to Sedona think about taking your fat bike. In fact let's have a fat bike group ride down there in a couple of weeks....

Great pics and definitely down to ride the phatties on the slickrock
in a few weeks. Rode Aerie-mescal-chuckwagon yesterday on SS, great
trail. I need to get on Last Frontier and Western Civ soon.
