Couple of quick questions:

1. Is the Mukluk wheelset offset similar to a Pugs?

2. Anyone gone tubeless yet for your fat bike? Reading some posts on
MTBR about ghetto tubeless working.

Brian,

1. Mukluk uses 135mm front, 170mm rear with zero offset.

2. I have read about the ghetto tubeless working as well and plan to try it out at some point.  I need to track down a flexible adhesive that will keep the rim strip stuck to the rim and possible keep the tire stuck to the rim strip as well.  Definitely worth trying I think.

Thx for info on the Muk.

For the adhesive for the rim strip - if you go Ghetto w/ a removable
core w/ a 20" tube and where the tire and tube overlap on the bead
then it shouldn't that keep the rim strip from moving? Or am I
missing your point (maybe confused)?

No that usually works great but I am a little concerned about going down to 5 psi with that set up and compromising the seal of the tire.  The glue will just add a little extra security.

But we won't know until we try it...

That makes sense now. Seems like a lot of posts on MTBR about ghetto
(that I have seen) are somewhat recent and not much cold or snow
conditions with way low PSI. It would be nice if it works, but sure
would suck trying to put a tube in the cold if you burp and lose the
seal.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Do you sell a removable core 20" tube?

I need to find a tube that will work.  Will do that today.  Also I hear Stan's may be making a rim strip for Fatback in the future...
