Description:
Design and implement Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) based products.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Designs and implements digital and mixed signal ICs including gate, array, standard cell and full custom designs.
2.Captures designs in both schematics and VHDL representations.
3.Conducts simulation of ASIC designs.
4.Tests vector generation and fault grading of ASIC designs.
5.Develops prototyping and design verification testing.
Requirements:
1. BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum of five up to seven years ASIC design and VHDL experience.
3. Experience in mixed signal designs and gate array and standard cell technologies.
4. Experience with ASIC design tools preferably Cadence and Verilog.
5. Analog design skills preferred.
6. Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language. Spanish, German, or French desirable.
7. Ability to learn a variety of software programs, such as database information systems, and word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must have working knowledge of email and the Internet.
8. Must posses good analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
9. Must posses good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including strong telephone and listening skills.
10. Ability to travel as required.
