Major Duties:
Plan, design, develop and implement applications using the ASP.Net
environment.
Apply sound development practices to development process for
interfaces and applications. Create, maintain and deploy web solutions
using VS.NET 2005.
Update existing Web applications from ASP.NET 2002/2003 to ASP.NET
2005
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of .NET development experience (.Net 2.0 or higher).
3+ years of C# OR VB.NET development experience AND ASP.NET
development experience.
3+ years of relational database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL,
Sybase, etc.)
1+ years of experience working effectively in a team development
environment with a team size of 3 or more developers, as well as
capable of handling full life-cycle solo projects.
1+ years of professional experience with Visual Studio 2005 or
better.
Requires strong verbal & written communications skills.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Skills/Experience desired:
Agile or iterative development experience (SCRUM, RUP, XP, etc.).
Professional experience with .NET 3.0 or higher (WCF, WPF, WF, CAB,
etc.).
Experience with SQL Server 2005.
Familiarity with the Unified Modeling Language (UML).
Experience with Visual Studio Team System (VSTS).
Experience with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern.
Automated unit testing experience (VSTS, NUnit, NMock, Mock Objects,
etc.).
Experience with source control products such as VSTS, VSS, Vault, CVS,
Subversion, etc.
Experience with automated build products like VSTS, NAnt, Maven, etc.
Pre-employment qualifications: A background check (employment,
education, and criminal) as well as a drug test will be required prior
to start date.
Compensation: $70k - $75k depending on experience
