Oracle Business Intelligence Developer - Orlando, FL

Newly created position due to company growth. This is a full-time
(permanent) position - contractors need not apply.

The Business Intelligence Developer gathers business requirements for
Business Intelligence reports, MOLAP cubes, scorecards, and executive
level dashboards. Develops Business Intelligence reports, MOLAP cubes,
scorecards, and dashboards. Assists with administration and support
for enterprise reporting platforms including Oracle Business
Intelligence, Oracle Discoverer and Crystal Reports.

· Create and maintain Oracle Discoverer business areas.
· Create and maintain Oracle Discoverer workbooks and worksheets.
· Create and maintain Oracle OLAP cubes.
· Create and maintain the Enterprise Data Dictionary.
· Work with Oracle ETL developers on creating data warehouse and star
schemas.
· Work with Oracle and MS SQL DBAs on performance tuning and
optimization.
· Work with business users to understand their needs, develop custom
reports and train on BI tools.
· Ability to work independently and with limited direction from the
development team manager.

Skills/Experience required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-6 years related
experience.
At least 1+ years of experience with Oracle Business Intelligence
tools, Oracle Discoverer, and the Oracle E-business suite.
3+ years experience in a heterogeneous database environment (MS SQL
and Oracle).
3+ years experience creating reports from multidimensional databases,
preferably on Oracle.
Strong SQL programming skills.
Strong Crystal Reports skills or equivalent such as Cognos, Business
Objects, etc...
Strong MS office skills.
Strong understanding of native and ODBC database connections.
Understanding of standard change request procedures.
Ability to document business requirements into project plans.
Ability to communicate with all staff levels.
Oracle Portal integration and Oracle Warehouse Builder experience a
plus.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
