The consultant is responsible for learning to support and enhance all
ETL processes and the SQL data warehouses used for reporting,
dashboards, and benchmarking. In addition, the consultant will be
required to understand, support, and make needed enhancements to the
intelligence consoles. Candidates must have strong C#, WinForms, SQL
data warehouse, ETL, front-end & back-end development experience.
Job Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with emphasis
on quantitative analysis and application development is preferred.
. At least 6 years experience in application development using the C#
toolset and technology.
. Strong knowledge of data structures (SQL), algorithms, operating
systems, and other fundamental computer science concepts.
. Possess an understanding of healthcare applications, database
design, specifications, and user requirements.
. Ability to handle multiple projects and shift priorities under
deadline pressures.
. Possess strong skills and expertise with Windows-based software,
Winforms, graphical user interface (GUI) design, and event-driven
programming, with comprehensive mastery of C# toolset.
. Needs to have the ability to understand complex business
requirements and translate them into user-friendly applications
targeted toward a non-technical audience.
. Previous experience with MicroStrategy or other Business
Intelligence (BI) applications is desirable.
. Able to maintain confidentiality and ensure protection of resources,
especially intellectual property and client data.
. Flexibility, adaptability, and dependability required.
. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and
independently.
. Solid verbal and written communication skills are needed.
. Experience with the star database schema, and also Progress 4GL is
desirable.
