General manager, Operations, Miami, Florida

One of our clients, headquartered in Canada, is looking to fill the
position of General Manager to take care of the Operations of their
Miami location.

Responsibilities
·Assistance in the preparation and implementation of an annual budget
and a 5-year-plan.
·Direct and oversee each department's progress and development
against departmental goals.
·Mentorship and guidance of departmental managers.
·Approve internal procedure changes, and look to suggest ways to
optimize performance
·Prepare monthly operations report to reflect departmental
achievement, challenges and business snapshot for the corporate
management team.

Qualifications:
·Successful management experience, preferably in a software company
·Analytical, conceptual, strategic and planning abilities
·Demonstrated leadership with excellent communication skills
·Performance and bottom-line orientation
·Flexibility, ability to work under pressure with a prevailing
positive attitude
·Loyal and willing to integrate into the corporate culture
·Graduate degree in business administration, 5-10 years of practical
management experience with multiple departments and direct reports
·Familiarity with the logistics and customs brokerage processes an
asset.
