Does any one now, if there is any documentation on AS400 vs RS6000, What are
the benefits of using RS6000 and AS400 and what situation ( business
scenarios). In our company we started a ERP project, this works on both
hardware, different vendors provided with different platforms. Any
information related to these hardware / Operating systems and people's
experiences on them would be greatly appreciated..

The AS400 software is much more expensive then the RS6000 software.
You can purchase a very fast RS6000 and the unlimited user license from IBM
is only around $950 USD
I would go with the RS6000..
