My Dynabook is a J-3100sx041p

I had the computer up and running. But after using the program TSETUP
designed for the T-models, the system reported that the HDD was not
accessable.
I do not know the answer to the problem, but I'm supposing that the computer
shipped with some kind of setup program for the bios.
The program TDIAGS (also for the T-models) reports:

BIOS ROM Version = V1.10
KBC Version = V2.10

The computer is equipped with PIO-31SS Dyna Book ram card. Is the setup
procedure covered by the setup program I'm talking about.

I would very much appriciate any help, since I'm unable to read Your
homepages.

All the best, Poul Voss-Knude

Of course this is not T-Series. So you cannot use tsetup.

Unfortunately J3100SX sries BIOS has hard coded Hard disk related
data. This means you have to use special hard disk for these PC.

This BIOS code limits ths size of Hard disk up to 60MB. And
it check special patterns written in the hard disk. In some reasons,
if you lose the patterns, BIOS report NO-Hard disk error.

I'm pretty sure the note pc is a piece of junk. I strongly recomend
to give up any efforts on it. This is good for a floppy ( 2.1 MSDOS ),
you are luckey. Otherwise it becomes a typing tutour nothing more.

Try T-magic.
