For those of you thinking about going overseas for medical care, think
again. I went to Argentina to a company called Plenitas. they arrange
medical and dental care for a small fraction of USA prices, or so they say.
In actuallity they just take your money and disappear. They put you up in a
hotel and supposedly translate and arrange medical and dental visits. I
contracted and paid for 8 dental implants, I got only 1, then I was given
the bum's rush, taxied to the airport and that was it. All the work was to
be done only one hour before my flight left so I didn't have time to see a
lawyer or the authorities. My wife and I are subsisting on a meger Social
Security income, barely getting by. These thieves stole all our savings and
refuse to reply to inquiries or refund for work not done. The one tooth
they actually did, fell out after only a couple of months. Tell everyone you
know, stay away from Argentina and stay away from Plenitas, it's a scam.
