Day 1 Caracas
Arrive at any time.
Day 2,3 Mérida
Travel by bus in the morning to Merida, in the Andes. Options include
a ride on the world's longest and highest cable car system, visiting
Pico Bolivar, or active options like horseback riding or rafting.
Day 4-6 Los Llanos (3B,2L,2D)
Travel by bus to the vast grasslands of Los Llanos. Guided
explorations from the lodge to view wildlife like caimans, cabybaras
and numerous types of birds.
Day 7,8 Maracay
Travel by bus overnight from Mérida to Maracay. Optional excursions to
Choroní or to Henry Pittier National Park.
Day 9,10 Cuidad Bolívar
Travel by bus to Ciudad Bolívar, on the banks of the Orinoco River.
Free time to explore the city.
Day 11-13 Canaima National Park/Angel Falls Excursion (2B,2L,2D)
Fly by light aircraft to Canaima National Park and to Angel Falls. Two
days of guided excursions to explore the walking trails and river
beaches to appreciate the Falls.
Day 14 Caracas
Return to Caracas by bus.
Day 15 Caracas
Depart at any time.
