hi advice about travelling in sapporo (hokkaido)

hello i'm terence
i'm planning a trip for two from Singapore to Sapporo in the week from
20/09/2000 to 26/09/2000

i'll be appreciated on receiving advice,tips for travelling in sapporo i.e.
eating, sightseeing and accomodation-(accomodation)
my budget will be quite small & i'll **prefer to stay in some hostel/budget
hotel or inn near the address stated below**

but nevertheless i'll be also making a trip to ** Sapporo Factory N 2, E 4,
Chuo-ku, Sapporo 060-0031 ** to attend a convention...
