Protecting A Bike’s Cylinder Walls for storage

A simple way to protect the inside of your cylinder walls is to squirt
about 1 oz of good motor oil through the spark plug holes. This would
be a good time to replace the spark plug(s). With your bike’s
transmission in neutral, turn over the engine a few times so the oil
is distributed over all of the cylinder walls, but don’t let the
engine run.
