Nintendo Famicom Disk System Help! or WTB! PAL / NTSC issues

I was looking at buying nintendo famicom with the disk system, but the
famicom is the
PAL version from Hong Kong. I was wondering if there is some way to use
this on a NTSC tv. It doesn't have composite outputs but is there some way
to mod it to have composite outputs?
I think I can deal with a PAL composite output, but the PAL RF tv signal I'd
have no idea what channel to go to and no idea where to get a converter for
that.
