help with saturn emulation

i can't get any of the sega saturn emulators to work. i've downloaded
satourne, ssf, and girigiri, and all three of them seem rather difficult to
understand... i've tried searching for guides on how to use these programs,
and can't find anything in english.

- satourne gives me a black screen and really low frame rates (~5fps) when
i try to load a game.
- ssf says "error reading file" when i try to start it. i tried giving it
files from the command prompt, but that didn't seem to do any good.
- girigiri crashes when i try to load anything.
i'm running a PIII-800 with win98 and i have the svt bios... any help would
be much appreciated. (i'm practically dying to play radiant silvergun!!!)
