WTB: Arcade cabinet in Chicago

You should get some responses. Heck, once I posted on here that I
needed a Turbo bezel, and could someone please bring one to the
auction and find me. I posted that my last chance at using the web
before the auction, and sure enough, someone brought me one.

Hi Scott,
Take a look at this site for building your own cabinet.
http://www.dameon.net/BBBB/buildit.html
Lots of good info on the basics to get you accustomed to the whole
thing.
Here's another one:
http://www.mrsalty.net/index.shtml
Also, as for acctually getting a cabinet, check out
http://www.superauctions.com and http://www.auctiongamesales.com to
see if they're gonna be in your area.

Good luck,
Gunbu

The cross post to the emulators newsgroup tells me that they are
probably making a Mame cabinet, and not a Jamma one.

Jamma is a method of wiring your cabinet that makes it compatible with
MOST 1986 and newer game PCBs that use joysticks (well, the
non-joystick games are Jamma too, but they need extra wiring and extra
controls).

Mame is a method of wiring your cabinet where you don't use an arcade
PCB at all, but instead you use a modern computer in it's place.
