Help! I am having a problem re-installing my Windows NT 4.0. I run
'winnt.exe' from Window '98 (I have a duel boot system) and all seems to
go fine. It copies the files and asks for 3 disks. Then it says to
reboot for setup to continue (and remove all disks). This is were it
locks up! After I reboot, the system hangs (and setup DOES NOT
continue). Any ideas?? Please e-mail me...

If you have 98 installed, then you likely have a FAT32 file system. NT will
not install on this file system. You need to have a FAT16 file system to
support dual boot.

When you run winnt.exe from within the Windows environment, although you
shouldn't have to run it like that as the CD will autorun into the setup
program, you can use the command line winnt /b. This will run setup without
creating the boot floppies.

If you want to install from the CD using a fresh boot and need the boot
floppies, in the I386 directory, run winnt /ox. This will create the 3 boot
floppies.
